METAMORPHOSES II

When Narcissus looked into the water and fell in love with himself, the god complex was born. Cant say I mind it.  I have a little bit of it myself actually. But be aware. Playing with mirrors is more dangerous than playing with fire. It can get out of hand without notice.

If you live in a box with mirrored walls, you will see infinite replicas of yourself every day. You will fall in love with these images more and more until you become one. You will lose track of who you were and forget the life outside of the mirrors. Mirrors and delusion have a long history. 

Not all mirrors look like mirrors though. Some look like people. A closed off circle around you feeding you what you wanna see. These mirrors learn you. They become part of your artificial growth. 

You can enjoy this life only until someone throws a rock at you from outside. You wont like it. You wont like the image cracking. But remember, you can not charge people with waging war against god. You can not kill them. If one person found a way to make a crack, there are others right behind her. you wont be able to escape blood. Blood will get into your circle and suffocate you. 

In greek mythology, metamorphosis is irreversible for mortals and reversible for gods. It probably feels great to be a god. They can get a way with anything. But you are not god remember?

You only have the god complex.
