[A]lternative [I]ran

[A]lternative [I]ran is a speculative research project that interrogates AI's perception and portrayal of Persian aesthetics, using platforms like ChatGPT, DALL-E, Runway, and Midjourney.

Through a process of prompt engineering and visual generation, the project seeks to explore the boundaries and biases embedded within AI’s interpretive frameworks, especially given the underrepresentation of Middle Eastern cultural datasets in standard AI training repositories.

By pushing these tools to interpret, distort, and reimagine Persian visual language, I’m looking to answers critical questions about cultural authenticity, algorithmic bias, and the capacity of machine intelligence to grasp nuanced, historically rich aesthetics that lie beyond its core data training.
